Screech Owls - Essex, MA - April / May 2024

I had the wonderful opportunity to monitor a pair of nesting Screech Owls over several weeks from eggs to fledging using a game cam mounted on a 10′ pole near the nest box and an Insta 360 camera for interior views every once in a while. Other images were taken with a Sony A7V and the 200-600mm lens.

13 overnight clips from the game cam. The adults brought in a couple of large food items.

One of the Owlets makes a brief appearance in the entrance hole just prior to a Blue Jay taking a peek in the box.
